When I use news template in the STK and added a new page and assigned a date to the page it appears in the following format (dd.MM.yy) even under en_US locale. |

You are right, while this works in the events/news overview as expected it doesn't in the news page's header because the format is hardcoded in mainAreaIntro.ftl. [#if hasDate] <li class="date">${date?string("dd.MM.yyyy")}</li> [/#if] But it should be something along the lines: ${date?date?string.medium} |
