Hi, Currently, info.magnolia.module.templatingkit.search.SearchResultItem and searchResults.ftl highlight search terms using <em class="highlight"> and <span class="search-term"> respectively. With HTML5, we can use the mark element instead. See Draw attention with mark for more info. Thoughts? If you agree, I've attached a couple simple patches. Cheers, |

This can be modified by the customer itself when needed, or could be part of the search dialog box so that teh custom highlight element can be introduced through dialog. |
