 Description

Vaadin Hilla comes with a handy Testbench.
It also provides kind of UI-elements / Page-Objects which allows to easy write UI tests.

To try it out:

  • Ask Jan for a Vaadin-dev-license/seat
  • Start playing around
  • Ask Roman to get the code for his Hilla-Implementation of the configruation app
  • Try to write some test against the config-app

Possible limitations:

  • Looks like such tests must use JUnit4 API. Check whether we can use JUnit-5 too - or check the Vaadin roadmap when that would be possible.

To get an idea of Hilla check the slides and or Video from Roman

Existing PageObjects are working fine against the Vaadin/Hilla Demo/POC App.
