 Description

When I cancel an upload and immediately upload the same or a different video file again, I do not get a progress bar and the the entire UI enters an undefined state - only a restart of the instance helps.

To reproduce:

  • Open Assets app, choose "New asset"
  • select a video file to upload using the "select" button of the upload field
  • cancel the upload mid term
  • select a video file again using the "select" button

-> No progress bar appears.

As a matter of fact, this causes the upload field and the entire UI to be broken.

  • if you click on "select" again, the file selector dialog is not opened
  • the log mentions some problems:

I couldn't simply close the upload dialog or close and re-open the Assets app to fix this. As a matter of fact, once the "New asset" dialog is closed, I can't re-open it anymore. I had to stop and start the entire web app for it to work again.

Raising this to blocker, as it breaks the entire UI and requires a restart of the entire instance.
