 Description

We've defined a unified selection and opening behavior for lists, trees and objects in general. Favorites must be aligned to make sure they work the same way.

That being said, I still would like to keep the current, simple, expected opening behavior (one click executes the favorite), since favorites have to work fast and resemble bookmarks in browsers and links on web pages, which creates the expectation that they be working in a similar way to these. This would not be the case with the new behavior, where only a double-click would actually execute a favorite.

Re-adding a comment from MGNLUI-1317: it seems that the detection of a double click, that is required when implementing the new selection/opening behavior, is made more difficult or maybe even impossible due to this Vaadin bug: http://dev.vaadin.com/ticket/11814
