 Description

When the browser window is small, and you select too many items to delete, the confirmation dialog is long, and the buttons are below the bottom edge of the browser window - but the dialog is not scrollable, so you cannot access the buttons.

(The only luck is that the "close dialog" icon [X] is still visible, so you can close the dialog, thus cancel the operation.)

Ok, that's also bad because the default action will lead to the delete operation being canceled and thus is the same as closing the dialog using "x". There's thus no way to continue with the deletion.

My take on this: if there's a reasonable workaround to continue with the deletion, this is no blocker. Better yet, if there's an easy fix for 5.1 still.

Can you please verify this:

  • alerts are essentially just regular dialogs, but with a different skin.
    • can you thus take over the CSS directives from regular dialogs that a) limit max-height of the alert so that the buttons remain visible and b) activate the vertical scroll bar for the body, if necessary?
  • is there a way to continue with the delete nevertheless? (e.g. using a different keyboard shortcut) As mentioned, I don't expect there to be one. But if there is one, then this would not be a blocker for sure.
