We should add ie10 permutation to MagnoliaWidgetSet descriptor which would enable Magnolia 5 on both IE 10 and IE 11 (in compatibility mode). |

Thanks for reporting this issue. It looks like GWT still doesn't support IE11 http://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit/issues/detail?id=8228 even though in the mentioned issue someone claims that this workaround in the page head section could be used <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=10" /> |

@Federico did you try our latest snapshot on IE11? Because the latest Vaadin upgrade we did (7.1.7) had some fixes for IE11 in its changelog. So I wonder if it was fixed in Vaadin or if we actually still miss a permutation in our widgetset. |

@Mika nope, actually don't even have the env to test it |

Ok good you mention it, unfortunately I just set up a virtual Windows 8.1 with IE11 and indeed it doesn't work there, just a plain 404 right after login. |

According to http://dev.vaadin.com/ticket/12634 it should be fixed since Vaadin 7.1.5, we use 7.1.7 in 5.2... Keeping investigating |

git commit (as it currently doesn't properly link): https://git.magnolia-cms.com/gitweb/?p=magnolia_ui.git;a=commit;h=52564b605a38f79c57ff52d25805ddff0625a9e5 |

What version of 5.2 was this fixed in? We're experiencing trouble using Windows 8 IE 10 and 11 on a Magnolia 5.2.1 instance. |
