 Description

Now if you hit ESCAPE key on a dialog or detail editor in order to close it, a confirmation dialog confirms that you want to cancel the editing.
The confirmation dialog should ONLY appear if the user has edited any data in the form; it currently always shows.

Because we do not track changes atm please make a analysis/proposal first and check back with architecture.

Linking to the forms refactoring epic—as we will then use more vanilla Vaadin, including FieldGroups for which we have #isCommitted.

Closing this

  • related support ticket closed
  • no confirmation dialog in M6 anyway
