 Description

This change involves making search work differently in the UI. Instead of opening its own view, it filters the set of items shown in an existing view. Search settings are then taken over when you switch between views - this allows to display the result set using as either list, thumbs and possibly even tree.

The new search and filtering is described on this concept page and its child pages:
http://wiki.magnolia-cms.com/display/UX/Searching+and+filtering+in+apps

This is a bigger change.

Magnolia 6 supports search via findbar (cross-apps) and in tree and list view via column filters.
