 Description

Example form the Contacts app:
"When having a lot of contacts in the contacts app, the tree view might load a while.
Imagine a scenario, where the editor enters a search term into the search field before the tree load completes.
Unfortunately, the search field is reset after load is completed and the search term must be entered again."

It would be great, if the search term would not be reset after the tree view loading is finished.

This change was only possible with a change in the behavior of the field:
Before, on focus of the field the cursor was set to the end of the containing text.
Now, on focus of the field the cursor will be set to the position the user clicked.

Also back porting fix to 5.2.x series as the support-related issue has been opened against that series.
