 Description

As for all fields, one can also set SwitchtableField as mandatory by setting it's required property to true. However when doing so, it is no longer possible to save the form with the field at all. Also setting set property on the subfields doesn't solve the issue unless all and not only currently selected subfield is filled with data.

Comment by Mikaël Geljić [ 17/Feb/15 ]

Hi there,

Indeed, MGNLUI-3227 broke required switchable fields in Magnolia 5.3.6. Because of that, this change was reverted in Magnolia 5.3.7, and is therefore no longer causing the issue described here.

Besides, the reverted ticket (improve validation of multi-fields) was then cloned as MGNLUI-3313, and will be re-addressed as soon as possible.

Cheers,
Mika
