 Description

On iPads, it is not possible to reach to the detail-level of an assigned workitem. On desktops, you need to perform a "double-click" - on iPads you would need to do an double-touch, which seems like an uncommon gesture to select something (to me) - and I didn't succeed in getting to the detail-level of a assigned workitem.

On desktops, in Chromes emulation of iPad, I can sometimes reach the detail-page by double-clicking fast - but on this page, there is no "Approve and publish" button, as shown in the screenshot ipad-no-approve-and-publish.png. So, it is not possible to perform a publication via iPad.

The solution could be to show the "Approve and Publish" action on the action-menu on the bottom of the page, see screenshot ipad-approve-and-publish.png

Actually publishing is possible, albeit it is no super obvious how it works.

It is true, that currently the viewport is a bit to short (in height) - i think that's the case since iOS 7. Because of that, the grey button on the bottom is not completely reachable.
However, you can publish without this grey button. Do the following:

  1. Go to pulse to the list with the items you are interested in
  2. "double touch" the line with the item which you want to assign to you and to confirm. => this leads you to the detail view of the selected item.
  3. Assign the item to you.
  4. Now you have to fetch the action button to publish ... to make it appear, do a "long touch" on the action button on the top. This means: Press a finger on the item "assign to me" and wait until the buttons of the other action appear on the screen.
  5. When the button "approve & publish" has appeared, touch this button to finally publish.

ah thank you, so it works and the usage was simply not known - not a bug.
So, I think only the "double touch" could be a bit difficult to do, but maybe this is just a matter of practice for our users.

Thank you.
