 Description

Chrome on Windows is not usable.
A lot of problems appear, also depends a bit on which Windows version.
I can confirm various problems on Chrome & Windows7 and Windows8.

Examples:

  • Screen does not refresh after creation of nodes and properties
  • Tree is not clickable at all after a short while
  • Tree jumps every time you change something to the top after a while
  • Many other small problems.

Just test it, you will see.

... and I confirmed this in my authoring workshop at the 2016 Basel conf (MGNL 5.4.7, Chrome 50, Windows 8). Perhaps we should update the documentation: https://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/display/DOCS/Certified+stack

"Tree jumps to top after you change something and click in the tree" happens also on Mac OSX Sierra, Chrome 55.0.

Hi pierre, MGNLUI-4084 addressed the top-scrolling problem with Chrome, and will part of the next releases. I also left a comment describing how to patch this issue temporarily.
Cheers,
