 Description

A linked issue postpones app zoom-in/zoom-out animations till the response-processing phase is over, so that no shared-state or hierarchy change operations are affected by the transitions.

However, it has a nasty side-effect which results in the app curtain not being displayed in case the app is stopped from the server. The attached image displays what happens when one closes a Preview app (which is actually closed from the server-side through AppController).
