 Description

According to the certified stack, IE11 is supported on Magnolia 5.4. However, IE11 running on Windows 10.1 is missing edit bars and actions in the Page Editor. ruths can reproduce the issue.

It looks like the Edge compatibility mode is not triggered. F12 Developer Tools > Emulate shows IE 11 being the default, Edge is not even on the list.

Unable to reproduce on Windows 10 + IE 11 (virtual machine).

Couldn't reproduce on the Win7 laptop here in Basel, nor on Ruth's 2nd machine.

I'm seeing this issue on the demo instance with the new Win10 laptop we have in the office.

Comment by Robert Šiška [ 17/Mar/17 ]

We confirmed that switching emulation mode to IE9 fixes the issue.
Given that most versions of IE11 work fine and there is a workaround for those that don't, I'd say we don't have to investigate any longer and close it.

Apparently this is not only a IE problem but a general issue (see PAGES-126)
