I think its not a dam field problem, Its the general link field (CSS or whatever) |

We fixed that on the UI side, ok, not so long ago (5.4.4) => I could not confirm that on the demo, editing a teaser under /travel/members, there it uses a plain LinkFieldDefinition bound to the dam.
- name: image
class: info.magnolia.ui.form.field.definition.LinkFieldDefinition
targetWorkspace: dam
appName: assets
identifierToPathConverter:
class: info.magnolia.dam.app.assets.field.translator.AssetCompositeIdKeyTranslator
contentPreviewDefinition:
contentPreviewClass: info.magnolia.dam.app.ui.field.DamFilePreviewComponent
So, it could well be a special case of LinkField vs. AssetLinkField. Not even sure why we still have two, and I agree, it doesn't make it less embarrassing |
