 Description

A 5.5 change has slowed down the performance of Firefox's CTRL-F feature dramatically. To reproduce:

1. open the Configuration app
2. open the modules folder
3. scroll till the end
4. hit CTRL-F

I could reproduce it on Ubuntu as well as on Windows. I couldn't reproduce on 5.4.12-SNAPSHOT. The problem is there but barely noticeable on OS X.

It is not an issue on Chrome, though, as the CTRL-F popup is an overlay, which doesn't resize all elements on the page. The resizing of all elements seems to be what's slowing Firefox down.
