 Description

In VMagnoliaShell method updatePusher() that handler is disabled if device is touch, like an iPad because it was causing page editor sluggishness.

A way must be found to enable pushing to work on iPad as well.
Ideally we could move to websockets technology, but a fix with icepush would be acceptable. The problem with ice push and ipad page editor must be further analysed probably.

Hi,

could you please check if this is still the case on https://demo.magnolia-cms.com/.magnolia/admincentral#app:pages-app;/sportstation/about::?

Thanks in advance
Roman

czimmermann Do you have steps to reproduce or test for this issue? In my brief test page editor appeared to be working just fine on ipad.
