Epic Link: I18n fields issues

 Description

When filling a dialog where any of its fields has i18n activated description texts disappear after switching to non-default language. It seems that description texts depend on the language in which author is filling the form when they shouldn't.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to  https://demo.magnolia-cms.com/.magnolia/admincentral#app:tours:detail;/magnolia-travels/Vietnam--Tradition-and-Today:edit
  2. Change language to german
  3. Description texts disappear both in description and body text fields (see attached pictures)

The priority of this bug should be higher, as it severely affects Magnolia authors.

Any updates on this topic?
It's a severe bug that affects our more than 100 multilanguage website editors!

Notice new screenshots. Happens for the text field, but not for select. Could it be just that there is no description for the field in other language?

@Jan

I think this is exactly the misunderstanding.
Changing the language of the content does not mean that the language of the description should change.
The language of the author's UI (set in the user profile preferences) remains the same all the time!

The user interface language has nothing to do with the content language!
You can see that in your screenshots - in both of them the fields are in English ("Title", "Select TourTypes").
The descriptions should behave the same way - they should always be in English unless the author changes his UI-language in the user profile preferences.
