On dark backgrounds, non-highlighted tiles often disappear or are disrupted that much, that they become invisible. I've verified this with the graphics designers. The idea is actually that the tiles are not monochrome, but are merely transparent and should multiply with the background, which should work for most background quite well. I'm not sure if we can do that with CSS, but I'd like to at least try this before we reconsider a different implementation. |
