 Description

Find Bar uses the last-used app as a search filter, even if the app was closed. Correct behavior would be to run a global unfiltered search when no apps are open.

To reproduce:

  1. Log in and open the App Launcher.
  2. Open the Pages app.
  3. Close the Pages app right away.
  4. Click cursor into Find Bar.

Expect result: Find Bar runs a global unfiltered search.
Actual result: Find Bar takes pages as app filter and filters the search.

Closing as duplicate of MGNLUI-4743. Verify that search filtering works after the location control regression is fixed.
