Didn't work in 6.2 snapshot 2020.02.18 11:29:21

"A" in Assets does not return a result (might be due to the app still being reworked)

"A" in Definitions returns results with capital A only

thien.quach could you specify what was actually done (combobox filtering)?, avongunten was confused with the comment, which is mentioning something else than the description.

actually, this ticket originally aims to resolve the problem on Combobox filtering only

Comment by Anja von Gunten [ 19/Feb/20 ]

to me it would make more sense to have it on the input field, that's where i type - it's irritating to have case sensitivity in a search box

avongunten check the attached video, that shows the problem which has been fixed (select field suggestion box case insensitivity).
Case insensitive search (that's shown on the screenshots which is confusing because the tickets description doesn't say anything about it) would be a different issue (would have to be fixed in each datasource - JCR, definitions, resources...). Feel free to create a ticket for that.
