When unlocking the iPad, having safari running last with magnolia already loaded, we see the scrollbar as shown in the attached screenshot m5-scrollbar.png - for a very short period of time, then it fades out.

This said, it is not critical at all, but highlights that some sizing around the shell is not calculated properly, and leaves the door open to some accidental scrolling of the whole UI (see screenshot m5-scroll-offset.png).

Yes, it looks like some height calculation might need some tweaking.

Found out there is an object tag at the end of the body that causes such offset, besides having width and height set to 0px.

This object tag is used by vaadin for preloading purposes and should apparently be removed afterwards, see http://dev.vaadin.com/ticket/10863
