 Description

This epic lists the apps that have already been migrated to the new UI fmwk but where the documentation has not been updated.

For migrations that are not yet done, epics will be created by dev and include a corresponding DOC ticket (e.g. Security app).

slutz, we'll tackle these in the order below:

  • Assets
  • Tags
  • Pages
  • Definitions
  • Personas, Preview, Segments (Personalization module)
  • Notifications
  • Content dependencies
  • JCR Browser
  • Resource Files > no impact on docs
  • Tasks > no impact on docs

REST Client  comment for Martin below.

Security > moved to the app migration epic (MGNLUI-6268).

Cache Browser/Tools > depends on the app migration ticket (MGNLUI-5392).

mdrapela I see an info box added to the top of the REST Client module page pointing users to the release notes for information. Do you have tickets already for updating the reference page? If so could you add them to this epic, please?

Workflow has also been migrated and docs not updated: https://jira.magnolia-cms.com/browse/MGNLWORKFLOW-384
Complaints from Tobias (DOCU-2159) and Rich(DOCU-2151) so far.
slutz where would workflow go in the order of priorities (list in epic description) + any chance some of these tickets could be taken on by devs in the UI fmwk sprints? The writers are struggling to keep up with ongoing work so this backlog will not move without some help.

Comment by Ashraf Khamis [ 15/Jul/21 ]

Given the increasing number of SUPPORT and DOCU tickets we've received over the last couple of weeks, the following tickets currently have the highest priority:

rkovarik The scope of the tickets has changed a bit, so let's (re)groom them tomorrow and start tackling them as soon as possible

Comment by Ashraf Khamis [ 11/Jan/22 ]

All tickets are now closed. More DOC tickets will be created as part of future app migration epics.

Closing this epic as Done.
