 Description

The “show versions” button does not work when the content or page is using a switchable field. You are then able to use the show versions feature if you reload the app you are using. This goes for any app containing forms with switchable fields.  This only occurs when you start up an instance. The error no longer happens if you refresh the app you are using

Steps to Reproduce

  • Add a switchable field to a form (you can use the detail editor form for contacts app for example)
  • Publish the entry
  • Click “show versions” and select a version
  • (If you are able to see the selected version, you have to restart the instance for the error to show. You would then restart and click show versions and select a version again)

Expected Result

You will see a read-only version of the form with the selected version

Actual Result

The version selected will not display and you receive an error on the console. Here is the error:

Additional Notes

If you refresh the app, it will not occur again until you reset the instance. The initial report of this was in 5.7.3. This is still happening after testing on 5.7.8 and 6.2.4.

Close as won't fix: Issue happens on M5 only, cannot reproduce in M6, feel free to open again if it can be reproduced on M6
