 Description

The RTE has three link buttons. A generic link, page link and asset link. When editing page and asset links the chooser dialog does not open with the last chosen item.

Reproduce

  • Add magnolia pageLink or damLink to a richTextfield.
  • When editing this link, the opened chooser doesn't select the linked item.

Expected
The linked item should be selected in the chooser, otherwise the editor cannot find out, which page or document the link leads to.

Actual
The chooser is opened, but nothing is preselected.

Workaround
To see the entire path highlight the link and use the generic link.

For release notes: binary incompatible change:

  • richTextField moved from magnolia-ui-framework submodule to magnolia-ui-framework-jcr
    • as it heavily depends on JCR API
    • also to fix preselection of last chosen link
    • package stays so nobody should be affected at runtime
    • in custom code, you might miss magnolia-ui-framework-jcr dependency after update to UI 6.2.14.
