These are JCR browser specific and shouldn't be reused. But https://git.magnolia-cms.com/projects/DOCUMENTATION/repos/product-docs/pull-requests/778/diff#modules/ROOT/pages/Releases/Release-notes-for-Magnolia-CMS-6.2.14.adoc provides really useful info for the JCR browser docu.

Yes, I remember we had this discussion before. We shouldn't list any non-UI action (availability) definition classes, so we don't need to add the two mentioned in the ticket.

rkovarik Anything to add to https://docs.magnolia-cms.com/product-docs/6.2/Apps/List-of-apps/JCR-Browser-app.html? If not, then just the release note should do the trick.

I think the info could be copied/moved to the JCR browser page so users don't have to look up the info in release notes.

I'd say this is more of an expected behavior. Not sure if it should be spelled out at https://docs.magnolia-cms.com/product-docs/6.2/Apps/List-of-apps/JCR-Browser-app.html. I wasn't even sure if this was an improvement or just a bug fix.

After investigating the behavior described in https://docs.magnolia-cms.com/product-docs/6.2/Releases/Release-notes-for-Magnolia-CMS-6.2.14.html#_editable_jcr_property_types with Roman, a bug ticket (MGNLUI-6986) has been created. As part of the ticket, the following is listed:

  • Add description for field: The Date property type must follow the ISO 8601 standard (e.g. 2021-12-13T12:21:55+00:00).

This UI text should provide enough contextual help for users to know which date format is supported without updating the docs. Closing the ticket as Won't Do.
