 Description

If you double-click or -tap on a message in the Messages list in Pulse, a pane should slide-in from the right to the left showing the message details. The pane also contains an Action bar to work on the message and to reveal attached or referenced content items in the associated app.

You can find visualizations of this here: http://wiki.magnolia-cms.com/display/UX/The+Messages+sub+app+screens#TheMessagessubappscreens-Showingmessagedetails

Notes:

  • Extending or collapsing the Action bar simply shrinks or enlarges the font size used in the message details. The general design idea is to make messages appear almost like a sheet of paper - a sheet of paper you can directly act upon.
  • A scrollbar is shown to the left of the action bar.
  • If you need a good case to work on, reviewing a page (workflow) is actually a perfect first example to work on.
  • If you need a less connected case, use a system message with the actions to "delete" and "forward to support" a message.

Moving this to cleanup version and raising it to critical, as we need it rather sooner than later in order to be able to continue work on workflows.

Added this to Alpha 1 S9 as we should really get this going, so that we can properly build Pulse functionality and continue with work flows.
