| Description |

The title of the Action bar, appearing at the top of the first group of actions, should be equal to the specific type name of the currently selected content item. We currently have titles like "Asset", "Area" or "Page". This is equal to the name of the content type. The specific content type is - as the name suggests - more specific. Examples are "Image asset", "Document asset", "Internal page teaser", "Content area", "Article page". Here are the reasons why I'd like to show the specific type name and not, for example, the name or just the type name of an item:
In case of multiple items being selected, refer to the least common denominator type name, if possible, but remain specific, if this is feasible, e.g. use "Article pages", if two article pages have been selected, but use "Pages" only, if an article and a non-article page were selected. If this is too complicated to implement, just use "Pages" or "Multiple pages". |

What should the title be when nothing is selected and we're operating on the root node of the workspace? |

I'd say it should be configurable and by default should name the items or concept the app is managing. For Pages, it would be "Pages", for Contacts "Contacts", Assets "Assets", Configuration "Configuration", Security "Security". This would make a good case for the app name being the default. |
