Actually, the forum post I've found is outdated and there seems to be a way to set it up:
When we set it, it does change the behavior on (theirs) AuroraESite webapp, but the REST responses remain unchanged. |

Doesn't work on root category (because there's actually no root category in wcs, just Top Categories). |
