 Description

When trying to connect e.g. to .../.webdav/resources via finder, you never get a user/password dialog so you never can provide credentials to be properly authorized. In Console (OSX) you can see that magnolia will hence return a http 403 status code.

Trying to access the same resource via a browser works, when you first login into magnolia.

status is no longer set in BasicClientCallback so this has to be done somewhere else now

The provided fix wasn't 100% right as it could result in unnecessarily sending the authentication form together with the request.

The magnolia issue has to be solved first.

will only work with core 4.5.3 or higher
