jBPM 6.2 is out. Might be interesting to see, how much effort it is to go to this version.

"As outlined in the Oracle JDK Support Roadmap, after April 2015, Oracle will not post further updates of Java SE 7 to its public download sites."

--> this is getting somewhat urgent

Hi Richard-

In the mean time, you can update your pom to bring in jBPM 6.1. I know of other customers who have done this and everything is working well.

Thanks for that feedback! That will probably be what we will try then if version 5.3.9 isn't out in time.

Richard

@richard: we are one of those customers who updated our pom to jBPM 6.1. If you want more details please ask!

Hi Edgar,

Thanks, I've set it up in test without problems. We're not really using the workflow, so if magnolia compiles and starts it should be fine as a workaround for the moment.

Richard

Check. Same here.

I'm a bit confused now, the issue title states Magnolia 5.3.x, and the issue has the Label 5.3.9, but "Fix Versions" only lists 5.4.6.

Is it only that 5.3.9 is missing in the "Fix Versions" now?

Comment by Richard Gange [ 22/Jun/15 ]

Hi Joerg. Sorry for the confusion. 5.3.9 does indeed include the fix. HTH

Joerg btw there was a discrepancy introduced when Magnolia 5.2.4 was released that caused the version of workflow modules to be out of sync. Those versions are workflow module versions.
