 Description   

To reproduce:

  1. Make subsequent publications fail, e.g. by configuring a bad receiver in https://demoauthor.magnolia-cms.com/.magnolia/admincentral#app:configuration:browser;/modules/publishing-core/config/receivers/public1:treeview: (e.g. give it a wrong domain name)
  2. Publish any page
  3. Open failed task in "Failed Tasks" https://demoauthor.magnolia-cms.com/.magnolia/admincentral#app:tasks-app:failed;:null:

In the failed task, there is no further information displayed about its failure, e.g. the Exception message. You have to look in the log file to find the cause.

it looks like this is a Vaadin frontend problem: the message is there, but it is hidden if the window is too small, or the font too large. When I zoom out (Cmd-"-"), the message becomes visible:
