If Freemarker or HTML is broken, the visual edit view is a pain. There should be a second view, that shows the areas and components in a hierarchical tree and allow opening the dialogs from here without having to go through the visual output. |

Option 1: Move content to apps if working in the Page Editor feels too heavy. In a dedicated app, the editor can focus on pure content editing without being distracted by the surrounding page layout or any rendering issues. Option 2: Try the Basic Editor App. Magnolia client Aktion Mensch built an app that serves as complement to the standard Pages App. The Basic Editor is aimed at people who have impaired vision but it matches the request in this ticket perfectly.
