 Description

Investigation: 3sp

Steps are copied from attached support ticket:

  1. Find a page yaml template that is being used by a page on your local instance
  2. Stop your local instance (if running)
  3. Change the yaml file name
  4. Start magnolia
  5. Go to pages app and find the node tied to the template whose name was changed
  6. You should now see 'Unknown template' where the template title is
  7. Try to change the page template via 'Change template' action in the action bar

Expected result
User can successfully change templates when selecting the "change template" action.

Actual Result

  • The page with the template now has ‘Unknown Template’
  • You are unable to select the “Change Template” action

Workaround
Create a copy of the yaml file and change the template to the new template.
