 Description

I have a problem accessing the images of the Focal Point extension.

I added Focal Point 1.0.13 to my project, the default configurations are set.

When I print out the path of the asset it is like "/image.jpg", so no folders or anything.

However, when I try building the image url according to the documentation (https://wiki.magnolia-cms.com/display/EX/Focal+Points) , I cannot access the image in any way that would look logical to me.

I tried the following (context path = /localAuthor):

/localAuthor/.imaging/responsive/dam/768by1024/768x1024/dam/image.jpg

/localAuthor/.imaging/responsive/dam/768by1024/dam/image.jpg

/localAuthor/.imaging/responsive/dam/768by1024/image.jpg

I also checked in the assets module, to verify that I am seeing the Focal Point tab, and even changed some of the images there and saved it.

We are also using

info.magnolia.templating.imaging.VariationAwareImagingSupport

in the project. Is it possible that this is causing problems with the extension?

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install Focal Points Extension
  2. Try to use a focal point image in one of your templates, using the paths above
