Hi, am I understand it right, that Commerce connector pack is latest, more mature and prefered way to implement shop? |

Hi, The difference between this two modules is that the shop is independent from the connector pack, you store the products in a database. For the e-commerce connector pack, it is a way to integrate Magnolia with an external e-commerce 3rd party, you retrieve the products and catalogs from another application. It is true we could add an integration in the e-commerce connector to get the data from a db, but then every db will have a different structure, or we would have to impose one. |
