 Description

When I'm logged in into the siteimplove plugin, on an author instanz and I click the logout button, I cannot login again. Clicking on "login" opens a layer which is instantly closed again.
Having a look at the markup for the plugin shows, the layer link seems to be wrong:

<div class="si-bottom-boxes si-pos-side si-pos-east"><button class="si-login-box si-button " data-link="https://my2.siteimprove.com/overlay/cms/close" aria-label="Login">Login</button></div>

The customer is not able to login at all. Browser: Chrome and MS Edge. The customer reports, that after clicking multiple times on the login plugin icon/link, at some point the login popup opens and a login is possible. But afterwards the popup closes and the plugin is not usable.

Hi dheigener,

The plugin button is actually provided by Siteimprove, Magnolia is following the following guidelines:

https://developer.siteimprove.com/cms-plugin-integration-cookbook/

I have tried with Google Chrome and MacOs, I couldn't reproduce the issue.

It might also come from the user account used. By any chance would you have a test account I can use, which reproduces the error ?

I have a similar problem (only on Mac Chrome):

Login does not work at all – the login popup shows up and disappears every time I click on the login button. See screen video: siteimprove_mac_chrome.mov

On the other hand, I don't have any problems with all other browsers and systems (Mac Safari, Firefox & Windows Chrome, Edge, Firefox all work as expected).

In my case, it turns out my adblocker was too aggressive. After turning it off, everything works as expected. Might be a solution for the original issue, too?

Thank you @Anne Meister for the hint.
I'll let my customer check that.

Kind regards,
Doreen
