 Description

As a system administrator I want to be able to turn off Usage Metrics and alerting users at first login with a single configuration property.

AC:

  • Use existing toggle in the About app
  • When the Usage Metrics are turned off, do not show the popup at first login anymore.
  • When the Usage Metrics are enabled again, show the popup at first login of users that haven't accepted it so far.

I consider this to be a bug because the message is inaccurate - it is informing users that they are being tracked when in fact they are not and there is no reporting happening.

"Magnolia collects anonymous statistics about how the product is used."

This message is misleading and can be disturbing to users in high security environments. Could cause issues between IT and business users - where the business users raise flags to IT and IT tries to assure them that there is no security policy violation.
