 Description

Steps to reproduce

  1. Upload a new image and put it inside a component via normal link field.
  2. Publish the page containing the above component and note that the image is published too.
  3. Uploaded a second image and link to it via a rich text field in the same page.
  4. Re-publish the page and note that the second image remains unpublished.

Expected results

  • Linking within rich text fields is default functionality. It is reasonable to expect linked publishing to support it.

Actual results

  • The second image is not published. The link via the rich text field is not acknowledged.

Workaround

  • None found.

chris.jennings was this problem happening with live copy? with standard installation and workflow extend we can see the links processed correctly

Hi chris.jennings,

I cannot reproduce this ticket locally. Following your steps, Firstly, I publish a page containing linkField and PSB screenshot, kitchen.jpg is added into dependency list for publishing.

Then, I add a rich text field into the same page and publish it. You can see kitchen6.webp is still added into dependency list for publishing.

=> everything works well
I used dxcore 6.2.40, workflow extended 2.0.1
Whether I missed any configuration here? please note it if needed.

Thank you.

Hi phuong.dinh and tmiyar.
I'm sorry this is proving so odd. I have attached a video of how it appears to me.
The banner uses a normal link field to cups_banner.jpg and a rich text field link to mugs_banner.jpg.
I am also using Magnolia 6.2.40 and Workflow Extended 2.0.1.

Please let me know how I can help more WORKFLOWEX-7.mp4 .
