If I inline edit/quick-edit an item in the configuration tree - one of the cases, where you may quick-edit an item in a tree -, the item sometimes is not shown as being selected, when in fact it is.
To explain that, check out the attachments. In the first example ("version 2.1.2": 1.1-1.3), the item is selected at the beginning, then quick-edited, then saved. The item remains selected.
In the second example ("version 5.4.3": 2.1-2.5), the item is initially not selected, but only hovered upon. I edit a value of an item by double-clicking on it (without selecting the item/row first) and save the change by hitting return. The "version 5.4.3" row now does not appear selected any more (2.3), but actually is, as can be seen by the state of the action bar (2.4). In fact, if I click the "edit property" action, the light dialog proofs it "version 5.4.3" is indeed still selected.
To summarize: if an item is selected before I quick-edit it, it remains selected after saving the changes. If the item wasn't selected, it is actually still selected after saving the changes, but doesn't show or appear to be. Apart from this being incorrect, it's also very error prone in that one might accidentally change or delete an item one did not want to.
