"This field is required” message persists on pageLinkField

Steps to reproduce

1.  Create a component which has a pageLinkField as follows:

   pageLink:
     $type: pageLinkField
     showOptions: true
     textInputAllowed: true
     required: true
   

2.  Try to save the dialog and check that the message "This field is required" appears
3. Use the Select button to select a page
4. Check the message disappears
5. Delete the selection and check the message is shown again
6. Use the dropdown to select a page
7. Check the message persists
8. Tho the field shows the error, the dialog can be saved

Expected results

The message is also removed when a page is selected through the dropdown

Actual results

The message only disappears if the page is selected through the "Select" button
